Constantinos Papantoniou is an accomplished professional with a diverse academic and professional background, uniquely blending expertise in chemistry, molecular biology, accounting, audit and administration. Holding an MBA and ACCA qualification, brings a multifaceted perspective to the field of accounting education

He has studied Chemistry, BSc, in Athens and Molecular Biology, MSc, at University of Essex  His advanced studies combined with his working experience have honed his analytical and research skills, enabling him to approach problem-solving with a scientific rigor that enhances financial analysis and strategic planning.

The MBA program of  University of Cyprus equipped him with comprehensive knowledge in business management, strategic decision-making, and leadership, essential for navigating and teaching the complexities of modern accounting practices.

As an ACCA professional, he possesses a deep understanding of global accounting standards, financial reporting, and ethical practices, ensuring the highest level of proficiency and credibility in the field.

WORK EXPERIENCE

With over 25 years of experience in the public sector, 8 of which served in administration and 2 in internal audit, his career has spanned roles in scientific research, internal audit, compliance, procurement procedures, contractual agreements, subsidy schemes, European Union fundings etc. This unique combination has provided him with a robust foundation to teach accounting from a multidisciplinary perspective, incorporating elements of scientific analysis and business strategy.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

His approach to teaching accounting is grounded in fostering critical thinking and practical application. He aims to inspire the new students and prepare them to succeed in their ACCA accreditation and excel in the dynamic and evolving landscape of finance and accounting.
