Aim
The aim of this seminar is to provide participants with an understanding regarding applicable law, purposes (advantages) trust serve and respective requirements, setting up requirements and key components, management requirements and AML aspects thereof.
Objective
Understanding of:
• purpose and scope of applicable legislation
• the purposes trust structures may serve
• the parties, structures and regulatory and licensing requirements relating to trusts incorporation/set-up and ongoing operation
• the risks involved for service providers, trustees, Banks, AML/Compliance Officers and methods to mitigate it
• how trust documents work and familiarize them with the necessary requirements for their proper review and respective due diligence.
Participants’ Profile
The seminar is addressed to: Lawyers, accountants, and corporate service providers; AML/Compliance Officers; Custodians and Bankers; Tax Officers; Members of CIFA; CySEC Financial Services Regulatory Framework certified persons.
Certification
All participants will be awarded a certificate. Each hour of attendance will account for one unit of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as required for members of most professional bodies.
