Aim
Environmental, social and governance (ESG) has gained momentum in the recent years, particularly in the reporting requirements. ESG considerations have moved from a mere box-ticking exercise to an integral part of corporate strategy, business operations, responsibilities while creating value for all stakeholders.
Objective
The main purpose of the seminar is to:
- Get insight on the latest ESG and climate risk developments, familiarizing participants on the principles of “Green” Economy, ESG risks / opportunities, and sustainable finance, providing practical guidelines and practices.
- Decode the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) which marks a step change in reporting and in the assurance of nonfinancial information in the EU. With the introduction of the CSRD, companies that fall within the scope of the directive are increasingly facing various reporting requirements that they need to comply with. The reporting and disclosure requirements will be analyzed for each of the new ESRS developed by the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG), providing also practical examples and useful sector case studies.

Certification
